I wish the book willng longer so we could see more of her. Add in the underground fighting, his personality and the way he fucks well Flynn is just the complete package for me even if he doesn’t like coffee tsk tsk.

Yes, you read right. We are left with a glimpse of a possibility…. Although all sex acts are percent consensual, Willing Victim contains role-playing scenarios that may upset some readers who are sensitive about rape, even in a simulated capacity. Albeit my husband might’ve had something to say about that???? Voctim you want a really hot read Definitely dont judge this book by the cover.

Flynn and Laurel’s willong But there is an actual storyline here as well – although it really wasn’t explored quite as deeply as it could have been. I could say that it is really different from Asking for It, even it’s from similar rape-play theme. And 2 I wish the book were longer. While the book is rough, I think the story is incredibly addicting.

Willing Victim

It just ends and you’re left hanging. There are really no substantial rules to those fights and that’s exactly what he likes so much. Laurel finds herself going there and discovering that Flynn has a dark side.

Their relationship was casual and laidback and was a nice break from the burning angst that I usually find in my books. Flynn stood on the other side, staring at her.

Willing Victim (Flynn and Laurel, #1) by Cara McKenna

The book starts with a young couple arguing and things are starting to get ugly between them. View all 8 comments. The author has decided to write a follow-up sequel!!

To go and watch. Would I re-read this book: Two people who like it rough and dirty and raw. I wouldn’t recommend this one to everyone, especially if you can’t handle a borderline abusive role playing fetish. Readers should adhere to the trigger warnings that are given by Cara McKenna before reading.

Willing Victim: Remastered by Cara McKenna — All About Romance

Aug 25, Sophia Triad rated it it was amazing Shelves: Laurel White has been letting her life go by, not leaving her mark and just coasting. Once the story takes off, the roles are turned and Laurel is no longer the aggressor. I hardly even noticed it because I was too focused on the absolute consent and the complete trust between these characters. That is the set up and damn, it takes off from there.

I did love the connection between Laurel and Flynn, and I loved that they were ‘real’ people, all nitty and gritty. A woman gradually finds out that she likes being ordered around, held down and being taken violently by her lover while she pretends she is struggling to get away.

The first scene that Laurel was just watching was done really well. Then one fara afternoon a tall, built bruiser named Flynn strides in and steers her straight into an infatuation she never saw coming.

Maybe if it had been a little longer. For Flynn is a sexual magnet for this type of thing and interested in only those who wish to be involved in consensual sex like that.

He was bare to the waist, powerful muscles lit stark by the white light, sultry by the red. This not your normal love story. These characters have their fair share of issues too, but it’s more normal, run-of-the-mill stuff that doesn’t tie into histories of abuse.

I just love it and wasn’t enough. I was just the teeniest bit frustrated after finishing it. Willng found Laurel both genuine and endearing.

Yes, he’s into some edgy stuff in the bedroom, but the author makes it very clear that Flynn would never go beyond what a woman wants, and would always stop if she said stop.
